Field Study Programs
One of the many ways that Sierra College provides outstanding educational experiences is through its many field studies programs. Sierra College has been and continues to be a strong leader among the institutions of higher education in the State of California.
For your information and convenience, we have invited all of Sierra's field studies programs to list their field classes or to have links to their Web sites here, at this location: "Sierra College Field Studies Programs". For the most current class information, please contact the specific departments and instructors responsible for these field classes and view the current Sierra College Class Schedules for current enrollments and other important information. Since listing classes here is by invitation, there is likely to be others offered by disciplines that are not listed here. Check the Sierra College Class Schedules for field classes in the disciplines that you are interested in to find other field study opportunities that may exist. Many of the Sierra College classes have field trips as part of their curriculum and are not listed here. The departments listed below have specific field classes within which the field experience is the primary activity (70% or more of the time).
