Sci. 20 - Current Topics in Biology - A Film/Lecture Series: Course Detail (1 unit / lect. only) Full-Time Faculty Lead: Shawna Martinez Catalog Description: A weekly guest lecture and/or film series on topics of current interest in biology. Designed as an enrichment course for students majoring in biology, health sciences, forestry, agriculture, horticulture, and related fields. May be repeated for credit under different subtitles. May be taken four times for credit. Additional Info.: Course is taught to provide additional information, often beyond what time will permit in our regular course offerings. Depending on which instructor and their special areas of interest, the course emphasis and class requirements may change. Check the class schedule when it is offered for information on specific emphasis and class topics. Often grades are based on participation and written summaries of lectures or films - subject to change depending on who is currently teaching.
